The wide industrial brazing range offered by Legor Group guarantees a high quality standard, production batch repeatability and maximum competitiveness in terms of price. The production cycle begins with programming which analyses the requirements identified by planning in order to draw up a production plan and organize purchase of the raw materials according to precise technical specifications. The Purchasing Department is responsible for the procurement of quality raw materials and semi-finished products sourced mainly on the Italian and European market.
Thanks to its Quality Management System, Legor Group constantly guarantees an excellent quality standard able to manage the entire production chain via integrated IT systems that record, monitor and measure each product processing phase. All this allows real traceability of each individual process phase, thus ensuring optimal results for every product batch.
Safety Guidelines. Brazing is a metal-joining process where materials, similar or dissimilar, are bonded together using a heating method and a filler metal without melting the base materials. During the brazing process the filler metal is heated above its melting point, wets the base materials and flows, by capillary action, between two or more close-fitting parts. The melted metal fills the gap and when cooled, joins the pieces together.
A flux is generally used to enable the wetting of the base materials by the filler metal.

There are various methods that can be used to heat the filler metal such as hot plate, induction, torch and furnace. The brazing alloys are usually made of silver and contain other elements such as copper, zinc and tin. The melting temperatures can be controlled, by modifying the composition of the alloy.
