This is the perfect place for sharing a romantic meal for two. Lots of candle light, blossom and a roaring fire in the background. Just look at that picture. This is The Cove Club's owners' new baby, so it had some big shoes to fill, and believe us, it doesn't disappoint. It is chic and hip, and makes you feel special as you walk in, add a plus-one and some flowers and you've nailed date night goals.
The elegant wood interior is just one of the perks of dining at Rabot. The restaurant that overlooks the Borough Market, is fully dedicated to incorporate Saint Lucia's cocoa into their recipes. Rabot is owned by Hotel Chocolat, which has an amazing resort at the Caribbean island and it's bringing the best of the Saint Lucian cuisine to London. Expect lots of chocolate-infused plates. The place naturally has a romantic ambience, but finishing the night with Rabot's chocolate tasting is a rather aphrodisiac experience.
It is clear that nothing was an after-thought at Rotorino, every bit of this place is full of personality. You can't leave without trying one of the wood-grilled meats. East London has mastered cool a long time ago, Rotorino is one of those places for hip couples that don't settle for mainstream. If you don't know the Islington food scene yet it's time you do, and Trullo is probably our favourite one out there. Combining the high Italian dining with homely flavours and a just-as-much of a homely environment, Trullo has discovered the recipe for comfort eating.
